For Long Island Nets and Pink Tie, Support for Long Island’s Autism Families is a Slam Dunk

Join the Long Island Nets this season in Section PINK, presented by PinkTie.org. For each ticket purchased in Section PINK, a portion of the proceeds will be donated back to a Long Island-based 501(c)(3) organization. It’s a great way to have a fun night out while supporting our local community!

From Suzanne Reek, Executive Director of Nassau Suffolk Autism Society of America:

“The Nassau Suffolk Chapter of the Autism Society of America has had a wonderful three-year relationship with the LONG ISLAND NETS. Our families have been able to experience the games in a stress-free environment surrounded by other families that understand their challenges. I truly never thought that it would be possible for my family and all the other families affected by autism to experience something that many others take for granted, enjoying a basketball game. The LONG ISLAND NETS team, everyone from the management, concession staff to the security team has worked together to make these game opportunities, the most successful, happy experience for all our families and we are so grateful! The icing on the cake is the generous donation from the PINK TIE GROUP.”

“The Long Island Nets are proud to recognize and honor the Nassau/Suffolk Autism Society of America with this joint donation along with our partner, Pink Tie,” said Alton Byrd, Long Island Nets Vice President of Business Operations. “The Nets have a long-standing relationship with the NSASA and we are dedicated to assist their goal of having all individuals within the autism spectrum, and their families, be fully participating and, included members of their community.”
